Dear Parents and Community,
I wanted to reach out this evening to let you know that we have been informed by Jefferson County Health Department that we have a staff member who has tested positive for COVID-19. As a precautionary measure, we are asking any staff member who has come in contact with this person to be tested.
There will be more information forthcoming, but the plan is to start Monday using a form of blended in-person and remote learning. As stated earlier, we will always put the safety of students and staff at the forefront of every decision made. Again, this was not our original plan, as we had hoped to begin school with full in-person instruction, but if we have learned anything through this pandemic, it is you have to be flexible. I will send more information out by Friday morning with specific details regarding Monday.
On a positive note… The grade school roof is almost complete!
