Waltonville PreK 17-18 Openings Update

Waltonville has been notified that we need to show definite numbers to secure all of the openings we need to serve our Pre-K students.  The Pre-K program has 10 openings hanging in limbo and it will either be us or another district that will be alloted those spots.  If we lose them, they will be gone, and if we have students that need them they won't be allowed to attend at Waltonville.  Currently we have 32 students . . .

Congratulations WHS Class of 2017!

The Waltonville High School Class of 2017 graduated on May 12, 2017 at 7:00 PM in the Waltonville High School gymnasium.  The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Alan Estes and the Waltonville Board of Education.  Congrats to our newest WHS alumni! Waltonville High School held its annual Prom on April 29, 2017 at the Mt. Autism Awareness Month - April 2017

The month of April was Autism Awareness Month.  Autism is defined as  a mental condition, present from early childhood, characterized by difficulty in communicating and forming relationships with other people and in using language and abstract concepts.  Waltonville staff showed their support for autism awareness by wearing autism shirts throughout the month of April.

Waltonville Grade School STEAM Night

Waltonville Annual 5K Race - 2017

Waltonville Seniors to attend Rend Lake College

Waltonville students signed with Rend Lake College today.  These local students will pursue their post-secondary education in a variety of studies and majors at RLC starting this summer and fall.  Trisha Standford, Waltonville HS Guidance Counselor, and Rend Lake staff worked with these students to get them signed up for the appropriate classes which line up with their future goals.  Congratulations and best . . .
