Waltonville High School FBLA Students Place at Area Conference

The Illinois Future Business Leaders of America Southern Area Conference was held at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, with 663 advisers, members, and guests registered from 15 area schools: Anna-Jonesboro, Brehm Preparatory in Carbondale, Carterville, DuQuoin, Hamilton County, Harrisburg, Herrin, Marion, Mt. Vernon, Murphysboro, Pinckneyville, Sparta, Steeleville, Trico, and Waltonville. The theme of the conference was "FBLA: A Legacy of Leadership.”
The Waltonville High School FBLA was represented by all thirty-two of its members and one adviser. We were led by our officer team consisting of President Olivia Massie, Vice President Mackenzie Trader, Secretary Gretchen Witter and Treasurer Lauren Frisch.
We had several team members place at the conference as well. Congratulations to the following members of the Waltonville High School FBLA Chapter who won awards at the conference:
